What the form collects

The free Google check form asks for:

• your name
• your business name
• your trade
• your town
• your phone number
• your email, if you choose to give it
• a link to your Google profile or website, if you have one

There’s a hidden field that catches spam. Leave it blank.

Why I ask

I use those details to do your free check and to reply with the 5 things I’d fix first, by email or WhatsApp. I don’t use them for anything else, and I don’t add you to a mailing list.

Who handles the form

The form is processed by Netlify, the company that hosts this site. The details come through to me so I can reply.

How long I keep them

I keep the form details no longer than I need them. If no work goes ahead, I delete them within 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, and you can ask me to correct it or delete it. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled it, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
